NOTICE is hereby given that on November 20, 2025, at 6 p.m. the Town of Newton Town Hall, a PUBLIC HEARING on the PROPOSED 2026 BUDGET for TOWN OF NEWTON in Manitowoc County will be held. The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection with the Clerk by appointment 920-905-4906.
NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF NEWTON, MANITOWOC COUNTY
NOTICE is hereby given that on November 20, 2025, immediately following the completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed 2026 town budget, which begins at 6:00 p.m. at the Town of Newton Town Hall, a special town meeting of the electors is called pursuant to Sec. 60.12(1)(b) of Wisconsin Statutes by the Town Board for the following purposes:
To adopt the 2026 town tax levy to be paid in 2026 pursuant to Sec. 60.10(1)(a) of the Wisconsin Statutes. Immediately following the public budget hearing, the Town Board will then approve and adopt the Proposed 2026 Budget.
