             The Newton Town Board Chairman, Roger Busse, Road Superintendent, Dave

 Mueller and legal counsel will meet with representatives of the DNR at the DNR

 Northeast Region Headquarters in Green Bay, WI on Thursday, January 24, 2019  at 2:00

 p.m. to discuss violation of the Wisconsin General Permit related to the Newton Road

culvert extension side-slope project in the Town of Newton.

 A.  Amends Section 9 (Conditional Use Permit) to include new language to meet the intent of ACT 67. Amendments include wording defining "conditional use" and "substantial evidence". Includes amendments to the process of issuing, modifying, and terminating conditional use permits

B.  Creates Section 14.08 Business Design Review (BDR) Overlay Zoning District including permitted uses, conditional uses, building requirements, yard requirements, site plan approval, and design review requirements.

C.  Creates Section 15-19 on standards for Recreation Vehicles for Temporary or Recreational Human Habitation.

D.  Amends Section 11{Lighting) to include standards for intensity of illumination and photometric study requirements.

Amends Section 17.00 (Signs). Propose amendments include increasing home occupation signs from 3 (three) to 16 {sixteen) square feet, increasing ground signs from 20 to 30 square feet, increasing projecting signs from 32 to 60 square feet, increasing permanent subdivision identification sign from 32 to 48 square feet, requires that sign standards in the BDR Overlay district meet the provisions of the Town of Newton Design Standards/Site Design Guidelines, includes standards for sign materials, includes standards for sign lighting, movement, and video display and creates sign definitions for review and permit administration purposes.

E. Amends the Town of Newton Farmland Preservation Zoning Map to include a Business Design Review (BDR) Overlay Zoning District within portions of Section 22,23,26 &27 (CTI-I C/I-43 Interchange area).
